A mark? A line? Or, a blank page?

“Both nations and individuals have tried Christianity and abandoned it, because it has been found too difficult; but no man has ever gone through the crisis of deliberately making Jesus Lord and found Him to be a failure.” ~ Oswald Chambers 1874-1917

He wrote one book. He died as the result of an appendicitis surgery. His wife spent more than 50 years putting his notes into book form. All of his books were his work never compiled. Yet a loving wife continued on. Much like Elizabeth Elliot did with Jim’s work. What is missing in today’s climate is marriages built on faith. Men of faith that leave a mark. Women of faith that make that mark into a line to follow.

Scarred Bridges

Scars are just well built bridges to hold parts together, strong structures you can rely on from the past to carry you through the future.

You do not just stand there. They are meant to heal you, while holding you together, to help you move forward. Where are your bridges taking you?

Remember, Jesus showed them His scars AFTER the resurrection. They did not hurt any more but, they all remembered when they looked on His scars. His scars were a bridge for us.

Before the Sun Rises….

…all through the night.

God IS…

God is Omniscient knows everything – all your sins

God is Omnipresent – He’s everywhere – you cant hide your sins

God is – Omnipotent all powerful, nothing is impossible – He can do anything, literally. He can even forget what He wants to forget.

God is Love. All the time. He sent His Son to be the sacrifice, to forgive your sins and forget. Yes, forget. God can forget your sins because He’s all powerful.

His love is unconditional. So He forgives and forgets. But, we live in a land of consequences. Some sins’ consequences

So He knows, He loves, forgives & forgets because He’s all powerful.

A Great Mom Is ….

My Needs or My Wants?

When you quit focusing on the world, and all it offers, and focus only on God and what He offers, then you have all you need (and sometimes your “wants”). ~ R. B. Green

Psalm 23:1 (NLT)

“The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.”

Psalm 37:4 (NASB)

“Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart.”

Silencing the elders leads to generations without hope and assurance. ~ RBG
